The fourth edition of the “Eye on Risk” safety inspection has once again proven its value as a strategic tool for organizational learning, continuous improvement, and strengthening technical and operational knowledge in safety. This initiative allowed the team to identify key opportunities for improvement, which will be addressed through specific action plans aimed at correcting the observations found and preventing their recurrence.

The participation of Endeavour Silver’s three operational units (Guanacevi, Terronera, and Bolañitos) added significant value to the exercise. The integration of multidisciplinary leaders fostered a rich exchange of experiences, perspectives, and technical approaches, enhancing the analysis of findings and the development of effective solutions.

The local team at the Bolañitos Unit demonstrated a receptive, proactive, and engaged attitude, highlighting the commitment, support, and professionalism of all personnel involved. This cross-company collaboration directly contributes to meeting annual work plans and reinforces a shared commitment to a strong, participative, and continuously evolving safety culture.

The inspection took place over four consecutive days, with the participation of 28 people: 12 from the visiting team and 16 from the local team. Participants were organized into four working groups, enabling a systematic, comprehensive, and participatory review of safety conditions at the unit.

Team 1 – Leadership, Strategic and Tactical Safety Issues: Evaluated the commitment and involvement of leaders in developing strategic and tactical safety and health objectives.

Team 2 – Behavioral Risk Prevention Processes: Identified opportunities to improve and strengthen health management and risk prevention systems.

Team 3 – Occupational Risk and Health Prevention Processes: Analyzed the implementation of processes related to leadership, risk management, personnel, performance, and information.

Team 4 – Safety Culture: Examined the organization’s safety culture and practices.
